The HNRC is seeking individuals from the community to participate in scientific research. Current studies are investigating the effects of HIV and Hepatitis C (HCV) infection as well as past Methamphetamine dependence on the brain and on human behavior.

Since 1988, approximately 2700 people have participated in research at the HNRC. Some studies ask for multiple visits in the span of a few months while others ask for only one or two visits per year and last a few years or more. Almost all studies provide some payment for each completed visit.

We appreciate the valuable contributions that our participants make to scientific research. All progress that is made in the understanding and treatment of disease and injury has been based on the willingness of research participants who have volunteered to make a difference.
